The BETA Dataset was developed by Tsinghua University and other institutions. It contains 64-channel electroencephalogram (EEG) data from 70 participants, specifically tailored for SSVEP-BCI applications. The dataset includes EEG data collected when participants completed a 40-target cue-based spelling task, with a large volume of data sourced from real-world application scenarios. During its creation, the data was gathered in non-laboratory environments to simulate real-world conditions. The BETA Dataset is primarily applied in the brain-computer interface (BCI) field, aiming to address the frequency recognition problem of SSVEP signals and promote the practical development of BCI technologies.
