The study proposed a deep learning-based method, developed the SRAB model and MP-TRANS pre-trained model, and created 88 species-specific protein expression level prediction models (MPB-EXP) with an average accuracy of 0.78. It also designed a mutation generation model MPB-MUT, which successfully enhanced the soluble expression of xylanase in Escherichia coli. This method has broad applicability to a variety of proteins and host systems.
