TNSmart List of Relief Shelters

The TNSmart dataset is designed for the meticulous planning of responses to emergencies by cataloguing relief centers throughout various districts. It segregates relief centers into distinct classifications, such as schools, colleges, community halls, multipurpose evacuation shelters, other buildings, and Thirumana Mandapam (marriage halls). Each center's entry in the dataset is detailed, containing pertinent information such as the district, taluk, village, building type, ownership status, and the source of water. It also specifies the building's capacity, including the number of rooms, fans, lights, and toilets segregated by gender. Moreover, the dataset captures the center's geographical details through latitude, longitude, and mean sea level data. It includes the contact information of the person in charge, comprising their name, designation, and mobile number, along with the address of their office. Additionally, it features remarks from the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) and the Collector, which might indicate whether the relief center has been recommended, approved, or has commenced operations.
