Characterization of Kayu Bawang in Agroforestry System in Bengkulu: Species Name, Wood Quality, and Metabolite Profile

Kayu bawang (Azadirachta excelsa) belongs to the Meliaceae family. This species has been widely planted in community-owned forests in Bengkulu Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. The wood from this plant is used for carpentry and furniture. This study aimed to characterize the DNA long-read sequences of Azadirachta excelsa by using MinION Oxford Nanopore Technology and to determine the relationship through phylogenetic analysis.
