CLOUD LIQUID WATER from ROBUST Probe onboard SAFIRE/F20 aircraft during HYMEX SOP1

Measurements obtained with a Robust Probe which uses the same operating principle as the WCM-2000 probe of the same manufacturer.<br /> The probe makes bulk water content measurement (no distinction of ICE / Water) in clouds by collecting hydrometeors and eating them at 140°C. The power consumption used to maintain the temperature is related to the water content.<br /> <br /> Observing strategy: <br /> The data are 1 second average of 10 Hz measurements.<br /> <br /> WARNING : A constant collection efficiency of 40% has been used to correct the data. It is the common collection efficiency observed for this instrument under the cloud condition met during HyMex.
