Wave model (SWAN) simulation outputs
收藏资源简介:
The SWAN model was used to simulate wind-waves at two terrace fields in coastal Louisiana, to simulate scenarios without terraces, and to simulate wind-driven waves in representative and hypothetical terrace designs. Wave parameters obtained from the model simulations include significant wave height (Hs), mean wave period (Tm), and mean wave direction (Dir). The folder titled “Modeling wave climates and wave energy attenuation in marsh terrace environments” includes SWAN simulation outputs of terraced and unterraced scenarios. A total of 12 simulated scenarios were obtained per wave instrument (C1, C2, R1), with a total of 36 simulations between the two terraced sites. A comparison of terraced versus unterraced scenarios was performed, producing 36 additional simulation outputs per hypothetical unterraced scenarios. The folder titled “Assessment of marsh terrace designs for wave attenuation utilizing a wave model” include SWAN simulation outputs of representative and hypothetical terrace designs. In this study, 3 terrace shapes (chevron, linear, and square) and 3 different terrace spacings (100, 110, and 120 m) within each terrace shape were analyzed. A total of 162 simulation outputs were produced, 18 outputs in each subfolder correspond to simulations obtained per terrace spacing within each terrace shape analyzed.
