Single component CRISPR-mediated base-editors for Agrobacterium and their use to develop an improved suite of strains

CRISPR-mediate base editing was employed to generate each thymidine auxotrophic and thymidine auxotrophic, recA deficient mutants several plant transformation lineages of Agrobacterium. Whole genome sequencing was performed to evaluate potential spurious editing introduced in the strain development.
