Geographic 3D Gaussian Splatting (Geo3DGS) Scene Dataset of Nanjing Normal University's Xianlin North Campus (July 28, 2022)

This dataset primarily covers the North Area of Nanjing Normal University's Xianlin Campus (including the Old North Area and New North Area), with the aerial survey conducted on July 28, 2022. This dataset specifically comprises the Geo3DGS model data. The data were processed and trained using an in-house developed Geo3DGS model training toolkit, which integrates the oblique photographs and LiDAR data, with the training completed on four NVIDIA A100 GPU cards. The dataset contains geospatial reference information, representing the geographical context of the campus, including vegetation, buildings, and other physical features. The final data is partitioned and stored in the 3DGS PLY data format. Data merging and decompression instructions: Due to platform file size limitations, the original .tar.gz archive has been split into multiple parts (e.g., geo3dgs_north_20220728_part_001, geo3dgs_north_20220728_part_002, etc.). To reconstruct the original archive file, please use the following command-line instructions based on your operating system: Windows (Command Prompt):copy /b geo3dgs_north_20220728_part_* geo3dgs_north_20220728.tar.gz Linux / macOS (Terminal):cat geo3dgs_north_20220728_part_* > geo3dgs_north_20220728.tar.gz After successfully merging the parts, you will obtain a single .tar.gz archive. You can then decompress it using standard tools.
