To investigate the role of the zebrafish elovl2 gene in the regulation of lipid homeostasis, we constructed mutant zebrafish with a deletion of the elovl2 gene. We then performed gene expression profiling using data obtained by RNA-seq of 2 types of zebrafish livers.
