Weather - Weather data monitoring - year 2023

Meteorological monitoring data collected and validated by weather stations in Bari, Brindisi and Foggia 2023.

For the validation activities, ARPA Puglia follows the [Guidelines for checking the validity of hydro-meteorological data] (https://www.snpambiente.it/2017/05/24/guidelines-for-validity-control-of-hydro-meteorological data/) , drawn up under the [SNPA – National System for Environmental Protection] (https://www.isprambiente.gov.it/en/national-system-protection-environment) , for the temperature and precipitation parameters. Standard validation methods (e.g. EPA-454/R-99-005 Meteorological Monitoring Guidance for Regulatory Modelling Applications (https://www.epa.gov/scram/air-modeling-meteorological-guidance) of February 2000) are used for meteorological parameters not covered in these Guidelines.
