GC-MS profiles of short-chain fatty acids in the intestinal content of patients undergoing laparoscopic gastrectomy

<p>Profiles of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in the intestinal contents of obese patients undergoing laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG). Chromatograms obtained using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).</p><p>Data Applications: Analysis of the long-term effects of bariatric surgery on the gut microbiota and patient metabolism; investigation of the relationships between SCFAs and metabolic status, mental health, and eating disorders; personalization of dietary recommendations; design of prebiotic and/or probiotic interventions; comparison with other bariatric techniques.</p>
