青藏高原湖泊动态数据集采用美国陆地资源卫星（Landsat）遥感数据为主，采用波段比值与阈值分割方法制作，数据覆盖时间从1984年到2016年，时间分辨率为5年一期，覆盖范围为青藏高原，空间分辨率为30m。水体面积提取方法采用波段比值（B4/B2）或者水体指数（MNDWI）为主，构建分类树，算法构建考虑水体的光谱特征在时间和空间上的变化，并且考虑水体所处的空间为主的坡度、坡向信息调整决策树的阈值。
