Il teatro nell'epoca della sua riproducibilità: il concetto di "presenza" al tempo del Covid-19

The essay proposes a reflection about theatre during Covid-19 pandemic, a period that subverted the concept of presence as a central element of the show. After a brief preamble about innovations that affected corporeality, the analysis focuses on this decline, which had already started with the appearance of home video platforms. When coexistence of actors and spectators is no longer possible, theatre has to develop solutions to reinvent itself, also by mixing different artistic disciplines and incorporating digital technologies.
