Northeast China are endemic regions for tick-borne viruses (TBVs) of significant public health concern. Herein, we conducted a comprehensive field investigation of ticks across four provinces in Northeast China, where we collected more than 4000 ticks. We performed a metatranscriptomic analysis to characterize their viromes, with a particular focus on pathogenic TBVs.
