Information on vehicles affected by diesel emissions
收藏资源简介:
Presentation of all vehicle variants affected by impermissible defeat devices within the meaning of Article 5(2) of Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 which have been examined by the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) and which must or had to be revised by means of ancillary provisions adopted pursuant to Section 25(2) of the EG-FGV, or for which information has been sent to the competent authority. Please note the following: • Vehicles are listed for which a defeat device assessed as inadmissible or critical by the KBA has been identified. In principle, defeat devices justified in accordance with Article 5(2) of Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 are present in each vehicle. • Only vehicles that meet all the characteristics listed in the overview are affected. • The indication ‘inadmissible defeat device’ indicates that, according to the KBA, the effectiveness of the emission control system has been unduly reduced. • Once the technical solution has been approved by the KBA, the recall for compliance by the manufacturer may start. Depending on the number of vehicles involved, this may take some time. • Table 2 is not exhaustive and is regularly updated as vehicles are still being tested by the KBA. The responsibility of the KBA extends exclusively to those manufacturers who have received their type approvals from the KBA.The KBA carries out recalls in cooperation with other type-approval authorities on the basis of the third sentence of Article 32(2) of Directive 2007/46/EC. Shown are affected vehicles broken down by (from left to right): Make, trade name, engine capacity, power, engine code, emission level, approval number of the whole vehicle, reason for the recall, date of release, recall code.
