This dataset is constructed to address the research demands of photocatalytic material performance optimization, modification strategy evaluation, and their applications in energy conversion and environmental remediation. It was generated between 2022 and 2025 under controlled laboratory conditions at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, using a series of analytical instruments including the Varian Cary 5000 UV-Vis-NIR spectrometer, Edinburgh FLS980 photoluminescence spectrometer, Zahner Zennium electrochemical workstation, Agilent 7890B gas chromatograph, Rigaku X-ray diffractometer, and Thermo X-ray photoelectron spectrometer. It primarily records detailed process parameters, photoelectric properties, and comparative performance data of a series of photocatalytic materials (e.g., CST-01, CST-02, etc.) before and after modification via multiple strategies, such as non-metal (N, S) doping, metal ion modification, single-atom/nanocluster loading, and plasma treatment. The measured metrics include light absorption performance (UV-Vis DRS), carrier separation efficiency (PL spectroscopy, photocurrent, EIS), as well as the reactivity and selectivity of photocatalytic hydrogen production, CO₂ reduction, and pollutant degradation (e.g., rhodamine B, antibiotics). The dataset contains experimental records, spectral data, chromatograms, and performance curves, stored in formats such as .xlsx, .csv, .jpg, and .opju.
