The role of IRF6 in salivary gland development

Loss of Irf6 leads to disruption of branching morphogenesis and secretory acnii formation in salivary gland. To determine the differentially expressed genes in Irf6 mutant, embryonic salivary gland tissues were extracted at E14.5. Two biological replicates of Irf6 null salivary gland tissues and wild-type littermates at E14.5干扰素调节因子6（Irf6）的缺失可导致唾液腺分支形态发生与分泌腺泡形成障碍。为鉴定Irf6突变体中的差异表达基因，研究人员于胚胎发育第14.5天（E14.5）提取胚胎唾液腺组织。针对该时间节点的Irf6纯合缺失唾液腺组织与野生型同窝胚胎组织，各设置两份生物学重复样本。
