Scheme of territorial coherence (SCOT) and PLUi worth SCOT in Burgundy-Franche-Comté (extended)

SCOT: PLUi Territorial Coherence Scheme: The law on solidarity and urban renewal (SRU law) of 13 December 2000 provides for the establishment, from 1 January 2002, of territorial coherence schemes, which replace the master plans. Developed by elected officials, at the level of the basin of life, habitat or employment, they will be intended to express the overall strategy of the agglomeration and to state the main choices in terms of habitat, balance between natural and urban areas, infrastructure, commercial urban planning. In peri-urban areas, in case the SCOT does not exist, any urbanization zone will be blocked, unless agreed by the prefect, within a radius of 15 km around the municipalities of the agglomeration if it has more than 15,000 inhabitants.
