X-ray Spectral Characterization of a Complete Sample of Swift BAT AGNs

The Swift BAT is creating the mostsensitive allsky 14195 keV survey,providing the leastbiased sample of bright local AGNs. We propose spectralcharacterization of 6 AGNs from the 22month BAT catalog that will complete aspectral survey of 47 AGNs in 4800 square degrees; these were accepted atpriority C in our larger AO8 program. Our survey will allow complete andindepth Xray spectral characterization of the mostrepresentative local AGNsample to date. We will derive the bestavailable distributions of Xrayproperties including absorption column density, absorption complexity, iron Kemission, scattered emission, ionized edges, and luminosity.
