The data sets contain figures for the overview of the financial situation of 2017, which serve as the basis for assessment of the respective state of health. The overview of the financial situation includes the number of pupils and residents, the tax burden, the equity situation as a tax fluctuation reserve and the central indicator in the form of the net debt of the respective year. As the schools integrated into the political community do not provide clear cost allocation in all areas and no separate balance sheet, no information on the balance sheet is reported for these five entities. The basis for the data is the annual accounts of the Thurgau school communities as well as the cantonal financial compensation.
