PPI network

This dataset provides benchmark data for protein\u2013protein interaction (PPI) network analysis and protein complex detection. It consists of two compressed files: (i) PPI networks represented as interaction graphs, and (ii) curated reference complexes used for evaluation. The PPI networks are derived from widely studied yeast datasets, while the complexes are based on established benchmark sets such as MIPS and CYC2008. These datasets are frequently used in computational biology to develop and evaluate algorithms for detecting overlapping and non-overlapping protein complexes. By making the networks and reference complexes available in a structured and accessible format, this resource facilitates reproducibility, benchmarking, and comparative studies in bioinformatics, systems biology, and evolutionary computation.
