Matrices and results<br>matdissimilarity.dta: the dissimilarity matrix.<br>numberofPatents08-19.dta: yearly number of patent applications by NUTS2 and IPC class.<br>cloglog_b2.dta: saves all regression results,including MEs of distance and distance*dissimilarity, the coefficients (b's), standard errors(se's), p values (p's), lower limits (ll's) and upper limits (ul's)<br>pairwise b2.dta: calculates the overall effect of distance, b=\beta^0_{m}+\beta^1_{m}*dissimilarity, its standard error and t value.<br><br>predictValue_NUTS2_long.dta: The expected patent output calculated based on the predicted probabilities. Then RCAs are calculated based on the expected patent output. <br>
