SDG 15.2.1 Annual forest area change rate sustainable forest management sub-indicator

This dataset reports the annualized net percentage rate of change in Qatar's forest area and is one of five sub-indicators used in the SDG 15.2.1 dashboard for progress towards sustainable forest management. FAO estimates the annual rate between forest-area reference years using a compound-change formula. A positive value indicates a net increase in forest area, a negative value indicates a net decrease, and zero indicates no net change over the relevant reporting interval. This sub-indicator measures forest-area trends only and should be interpreted together with the other four sub-indicators; it is not a complete measure of sustainable forest management by itself.
