eCD4Ig-Emm06 was delivered using the helper-dependent adenovirus 6/3+ platform to transduce rhesus hematopoietic stem cells in vivo. Animals underwent SIV challenge to assess for protection. Serum SIV was sequenced to evaluate for escape mutations. Overall design: 3 rhesus macaques received the HDAd-eCD4Ig-Emm06 vector (animals A21138, A21140, A22054) and 3 rhesus macaques received the HDAd-control vector (animals A23051, A21137, A22065). Animals underwent infection with SIVmac239 and had serum virus sequenced at 11 weeks post-infection (with the exception of A21138 that had sequencing performed at 7 weeks post-infection).
