Activated sludge was acclimated with PFOS containing synthetic wastewater in a semi-batch reactor. The PFOS degradable bacteria consortia were enriched from the acclimated sludge by sub-culturing then isolated on agar plates with media containing PFOS. Finally, eight bacteria consortia with PFOS-degrading capacity have been obtained.
