a. Data Content (data files, table names, included observation indicators)
The land degradation and distribution dataset of Mongolia from 1990 to 2015 is developed based on multi-source remote sensing imagery data. The 30-meter spatial resolution land cover data product of Mongolia was acquired using the object-oriented classification method. Then, with the technical support of GIS spatial analysis modules, the land degradation and land restoration distribution maps of Mongolia for the periods 1990-2000, 2000-2010, and 2010-2015 were generated. These maps cover types of land degradation, types of land restoration, and their corresponding areas.
