Using metatranscriptomics to estimate the diversity and composition of zooplankton communities

Sequences containing genomic DNA and complementary DNA amplicons of mitochondrial COI genes amplified from constructed mock communities of freshwater zooplankton. Metatranscriptomic sequences through mRNA isolation from the total RNA were also derived from the same samples.
