Austria's National Air Emission Inventory 1980-2004

This report presents a summary of data on compliance with the UNECE Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution (BGBl. No 158/1983) for the period 1990 to 2004. The EMEP/CORINAIR handbook was used to determine the data. It is presented in the NFR format of the UNECE. This report builds on the Federal Environment Agency Report REP-0005 on compliance with the NEC Directive (2001/81/EC) of 31 December 2001. It describes the emission levels of SO2, NO2, NH3 and NMVOC with regard to the annual emission ceilings set in the Emissions Ceilings Act - Air (BGBl. I No 34/2003) and supplements them with the pollutant groups dust, heavy metals, POPs and CO.
