Regional nature park; Perimeter with the associated park communities Until now, the Jurapark Aargau in the Aargau Jura has belonged to the park category "Regional Nature Park". It is included as a specification in the indicative plan. The Jurapark im Aargau comprises 28 municipalities in the canton of Aargau (and 1 municipality in the canton of Solothurn). The objectives, coordination tasks and measures are defined in the charter (in accordance with the Parks Ordinance) for the park project. Coordination with the neighbouring cantons is carried out by the canton.
