16S rRNA Microbiota Sequencing of Fecal Samples from Streptozotocin-Induced Hyperglycemic Mice

Utilizing intraperitoneal streptozotocin injection to induce pancreatic islet beta-cell destruction in mice for the development of a hyperglycemic mouse model. After an 8-week modeling period, fecal samples were collected from both hyperglycemic and control mice for 16S rRNA sequencing analysis to examine the composition of intestinal microbiota.
