资源简介:
Samples from features at sites 48YE246, 48YE380, 48YE449, and 48YE762 in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, were floated to recover charred macrofloral remains. Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information concerning plant resources that may have been processed and woods burned as fuel. Three features also were examined for phytoliths to determine if phytolith analysis would be informative in understanding the use of deep, structurally complex features classified as "roasting pits" that are commonly found in Yellowstone National Park.
