MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS OF MATERIAL FROM THE AIRPORT RING SITE 24YE357, YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, MONTANA

Two soil samples from the fill of hearth features the Airport Rings Site (24YE357) were submitted for flotation and macrofloral analysis. The site is a concentration of 11 stone circles
located within the Yellowstone National Park boundary in Montana. Overlapping stone circles
and apparent recycling of rock suggest that this area experienced multiple occupations.
Macrofloral remains identified in the samples will provide information on plants utilized by the
occupant of the site.

我们从机场环遗址（Airport Rings Site，编号24YE357）的灶坑遗迹填土中采集两份土壤样品，用于浮选法（flotation）与大植物遗存分析（macrofloral analysis）。该遗址坐落于蒙大拿州黄石国家公园园区范围内，是一处包含11处石环的遗存集中点。石环叠压现象与明显的石块循环利用迹象表明，该区域曾经历多期人类居住活动。样品中鉴定出的大植物遗存，将为揭示该遗址居住者所利用的植物类群提供相关信息。
