InterDesigning Network Report. Partially funded by INTER creative explorations: A positioned and relational research project towards decolonising design education. CAI RDF-Fund: 9483-3728607.As Principal Investigator, I explored the question: How could intersectional feminist creative research support decolonising design education? Using decolonial and intersectional feminist methodologies, my collaborators and I investigated culturally-responsive and context-based pathways to decolonise design education curricula and practices. This report shows the work of the InterDesigning Network, in which I am a co-founder. Our diverse positionalities—as settlers, migrants, individuals of mixed heritage, and native peoples—shaped our approach as we walked alongside (acompañamiento) Indigenous communities in our countries of birth and residence. This relational participation enabled the emergence of shifting subjectivities that informed both our research and praxis, contributing to a deeper understanding of how design education can be transformed through intersectional and decolonial lenses.
