This dataset is primarily designed for performance verification of intelligent rock-drilling equipment for railway tunnels, excavation quality assessment, and intelligent construction technology optimization. The dataset is generated based on the construction scenario of the Guola Mountain Tunnel on the Sichuan-Tibet Railway, with data sourced from measured data of intelligent rock-drilling equipment during tunnel excavation. The dataset includes 3 sets of point cloud measurement data for surrounding rock overbreak and underbreak (in Excel format) and 2 sets of scanning resolution data (in LAS format) from the Guola Mountain Tunnel on the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. The excavation profile is scanned using the LVMS60 laser scanning module mounted on the vehicle body, while a Leica total station is used for station setting to establish a 3D point cloud model and conduct overbreak/underbreak analysis, thereby obtaining construction quality control data. The data collection procedure is as follows: After cyclic excavation, blasting and mucking, the rock-drilling jumbo is driven to the tunnel face, leveled, and the on-board scanner LVMS60 is activated. Precise positioning and station setting are performed via the rear intersection method. Upon completion of the vehicle's navigation and positioning, the cyclic excavation sections are scanned one by one to obtain section scanning data, and the coordinates of the section measurement points are derived through software processing. Meanwhile, the total station is used to back-sight two known benchmark targets for station setting, followed by measurement of the sections to be tested to obtain section overbreak/underbreak measurement data. The coordinates of the section measurement points are obtained through software processing, and the overbreak/underbreak values of the two sets of data are compared to acquire the scanning accuracy data of surrounding rock overbreak and underbreak. The total size of the dataset is 323 MB, featuring standardized format and strong compatibility.
