Ws Reservoir (OpenData)

WsReservoir represents a location or structure designed for the storage of water within the WaterSupply network (eg Reservoir, Suction Tank). When constructed on a hill, by virtue of being a large elevated volume of water, reservoirs also maintain pressure in the network below them. The Water Supply network is a pressurised system that distributes potable or non-potable water to properties for the purposes of consumption, irrigation and firefighting. It is spatially abstracted to an area and is a child on the Water Supply network. IDS-compliant WsReservoir data will be inserted via the WsReservoirStage table. When deleted or edited, the record is Archived. A snapshot of the feature record, before it is edited, will be sent to the archive table immediately prior to the first edit of the day for that record. Entity type: Thing.
