MALDI TOF MS data - multiple myeloma

This dataset contains input data used for the analysis in the R script "End-to-End Workflows for Liquid Biopsy Biotyping Analysis Using Combined MALDI MS and Machine Learning Approach" available on GitHub (https://github.com/Lukaspecinka/MALDI---Liquid-Biopsy-Biotyping-Analysis.git). The dataset complements the article "Improved Screening of Monoclonal Gammopathy Patients by MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry" (https://doi.org/10.1021/jasms.3c00166) and "Liquid biopsy of peripheral blood using mass spectrometry detects primary extramedullary disease in multiple myeloma patients" (http://dx.doi.org/10.1038/s41598-024-69408-1). The dataset includes: 200 raw mass spectra of 20 patients with multiple myeloma and 20 healthy donors The dataset can be used to reproduce the results of the study or as a benchmark for testing machine learning algorithms for MALDI MS data. This dataset is licensed under CC-BY 4.0. Users must credit the original authors when using the data Data were collected using MALDI-7090™ MALDI TOF-TOF mass spectrometer (Shimadzu, Japan).
