The proposed observation of seven obscured AGN are necessary to obtain a complete and uniform coverage of the X-ray emission for the sample of Seyfert-2 galaxies from the 12micron galaxy sample openPar12MGSclosePar. Coupled with the broad-band X-ray observations available for the remaining 12MGS AGN comma the proposed observations will allow us to investigate the column density distribution at low redshift for a complete and unbiased AGN sample openParbecause of its mid-IR selectionclosePar and to connect the accretion properties to those of the hosts by exploiting the unique multi-band characterization and coverage of the proposed sample.
