<b>Test‑rig & acquisition</b>A two‑stage spur‑gear reducer was instrumented in the Dynamic Systems & Control Laboratory at the University of Connecticut.<br>Stage 1: 32‑tooth pinion ↔ 80‑tooth gearStage 2: 48‑tooth pinion ↔ 64‑tooth gearA 3‑axis PCB accelerometer was mounted on the housing; signals were sampled at <b>20 kHz</b> through a dSPACE DS1006 board while the shaft ran under constant torque supplied by an adjustable magnetic brake. Shaft speed was logged with a tachometer and used to perform <b>Time‑Synchronous Averaging (TSA)</b> so every record starts at the same angular position, eliminating speed wander.<b>File structure</b>UConn_Gearbox.csv is a plain UTF‑8 CSV with:<br><b>3600 rows</b> – vibration samples per record (≈ 0.18 s at 20 kHz)<b>936 columns</b> – individual TSA‑aligned recordscolumns 1‑104 → class Hcolumns 105‑208 → class MTcolumns 209‑312 → class RCcolumns 313‑416 → class SPcolumns 417‑520 → class CH5columns 521‑624 → class CH4columns 625‑728 → class CH3columns 729‑832 → class CH2columns 833‑936 → class CH1<br>
