Gene database of Homo sapiens

This dataset presents the catalogue of genes in the human genome obtained through parsing the annotated human genome sequence available on Genbank. By using an in-house MATLAB genome analysis software, contents of the annotated genome sequence file of <i>Homo sapiens</i> are parsed into gene identifier, gene function description, and gene sequence of each gene in the human genome. Overall, the resource should be useful for informing human genetics research.
