Raw data and R scripts for: Red pericarp trait, common to weedy rice, contributes to freezing tolerance of seeds and their ability to overwinter in soil

This repository contains the raw data and R scripts supporting the study “Red pericarp trait, common to weedy rice, contributes to freezing tolerance of seeds and their ability to overwinter in soil”, published in AoB PLANTS. The dataset includes measurements of seed dormancy release, freezing tolerance, and overwintering ability for near-isogenic rice lines carrying Rc and/or Rd alleles in a cultivated temperate japonica (Koshihikari) background, together with a Japanese weedy rice accession. The R scripts reproduce all statistical analyses and figures reported in the manuscript.
