Impact of the ketogenic diet on immune response and xenobiotic metabolism in an experimental model

In this project, we aimed to investigate the effects of the ketogenic diet on both the immune system and the metabolism of a model disease-modifying drug in an experimental mouse model of autoimmunity. Since the gut microbiota plays a key role in both processes, we analyzed its compositional shifts from mouse stool samples using shotgun whole-metagenome sequencing.
