Overview This feature service provides detailed planimetric building footprint data derived from high-resolution aerial imagery primarily acquired in 2014 and updated with additional features from imagery captured in the spring of 2020 and 2025. The dataset covers parts of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, capturing structural features with a high horizontal positional accuracy suitable for 1:40,000 scale mapping and analysis. Feature Layer: Building Footprint The single feature layer, BuildingFootprint_z, contains accurate polygon representations of building structures and facilities across the region. Each building footprint is attributed with building height. The data was developed through professional photogrammetric methods under the supervision of a certified photogrammetrist, ensuring high reliability and precision. Imagery used includes true color and near-infrared bands with a ground sample distance of 7.5 cm, captured under optimal conditions to minimize shadows and atmospheric interference.
