<b>Artificial intelligence (AI) can’t feel me: </b><b> Lower perceived perspective</b><b>–</b><b>taking impedes human</b><b>–</b><b>AI cooperation</b>

This study found that people’s reluctance to cooperate with AI stems from their difficulty in perceiving perspective-taking from AI. Enhancing AI’s ability to accurately assess, or even slightly overestimate rather than underestimate, individuals’ emotional and cognitive experiences can make people more likely to perceive perspective-taking from AI, thereby increasing their willingness to cooperate with it.
