The recreation of the X-ray corona in the changing-look AGN 1ES 1927+654

Our group recently witnessed the destruction and recreation of the Xray coronain a nearby changinglook AGN. This source underwent an optical/UV outburstafter which the Xray powerlaw, ubiquitously detected in AGN, completelydisappeared. Our monitoring revealed that a few months after the event, as theluminosity of the source increased, the corona reappeared. The Xray source ishowever still very cool and optically thin, and it might fully reform in thenext months. We propose here several XMMNewton/NuSTAR observations to monitorthe reappearance of the hard component and the evolution of the plasmaproperties. The proposed observations provide a unique opportunity to study thecreation of the Xray corona, as well as to understand changinglook transitions truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
