16SrRNA gut microbiota composition from Wistar rats fed with a high-fat diet and experimental tortillas

This dataset contains 16SrRNA gut microbiota composition data from male Wistar rats fed a high-fat, high-fructose diet supplemented with experimental tortillas made from extruded blue corn and tepary beans. Wistar rats (n: 8/group) were randomly separated into 5 groups: standard diet, high-fat and high-fructose diet (HFFD), and HFFD combined with nixtamalized white corn (NWC), extruded blue corn (EBC), and extruded blue corn and tepary beans (70:30%, EBCB). Information includes the composition barplots from the experimental animals.
