The goal is to investigate adaptation in environmentally derived Listeria spp. following sublethal exposure to benzalkonium chloride (BAC) for 30-days. Following exposure, DNA was extracted from wildtype (WT), BAC and non-BAC adapted isolates. Variant calling of adapted isolates was performed against their respective WT isolate(s).
