Tea Mosquito bug Helopetis theivora Waterhouse (Hemiptera : Miridae) is a major pest of tea. Whole transcriptome sequencing of this pest was done to understand the gene expression profiling using the adult samples. This study was aimed at finding new leads to control this severe bug.
