The National Tibetan Plateau Scientific Data Center is a platform dedicated to scientific data sharing for the Tibetan Plateau region. It offers multi-dimensional and multi-scale scientific datasets spanning diverse disciplines including hydrology, meteorology, ecology, glaciology, and others. The center houses over 8,600 datasets with a total data volume of 689.11 TB, enabling researchers to access high-quality, high spatiotemporal resolution environmental data of the Tibetan Plateau. It has undertaken data submission work for multiple major research programs such as the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research (STEP) initiative, providing critical data support for scientific studies on the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions.
