We propose to obtain the first hard X-ray/soft gamma-ray image of M31 with INTEGRAL. The proposed 400 ks INTEGRAL observation will image the whole M31 and will resolve isolated bright point sources in the disk. In the bulge although sources are unresolved with INTEGRAL we can estimate the point source contribution using archival Chandra and XMM-Newton data and study the origin of hard X-rays recently detected with Suzaku. M31 also houses a very luminous (5e38 erg/s) globular cluster Bo375. IBIS will allow us to study the hard X-ray spectrum of the source and JEM-X can study the soft X-ray variability providing important information about the nature of the source. [truncated!
