<i>ACTB</i> Methylation levels and clinical characteristics in CHD patients

The study included 171 patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and 356 controls. Among the CHD patients, the clinical subtypes were as follows: 21 with unstable angina, 24 with angina pectoris, unspecified, 10 with acute myocardial infarction, 2 with subsequent myocardial infarction, and 25 with silent myocardial ischemia. The methylation level of ACTB in peripheral blood was quantitatively determined by mass spectrometry to explore the association between ACTB methylation and CHD. Additionally, clinical information was also collected for further investigation
